Privacy Policy - Milgaya

This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your choices. We grouped information the same way app stores show “data safety”—by category—so it is easy to scan. Store listings (such as Google Play’s Data safety) summarize practices in their own format; this policy is the full description.

Data we collect

Data we may collect when you use Milgaya. Expand a section to see what we use it for.

Personal info Name, email, user IDs, date of birth, gender, about, education, work, interests, lifestyle preferences, matrimonial / Life Partner fields you choose to provide, and similar profile fields

Location Approximate location and precise location when you allow it

First-party per-install identifier: App functionality, fraud prevention, security, account management (not used for cross-app advertising tracking as defined by mobile platform rules)
Device label: App functionality, fraud prevention, security (best-effort device name/model for support and abuse investigation)
IP address: App functionality, fraud prevention, security, service reliability (from standard connection headers on our servers)

Analytics Product analytics through providers such as Firebase

Advertising Third-party rewarded ads when you use Rewards Center

Ad network identifiers and callbacks: App functionality, fraud prevention (for example Google AdMob may receive a user ID and completion metadata for server-side verification of rewarded ads; subject to the provider’s terms and notices)

Financial info (Affiliate payouts) UPI or bank details you submit if you claim Affiliate Marketer payouts

UPI ID or bank account details: App functionality, account management (to pay approved Affiliate Marketer claims; may be snapshotted on a claim and shown to admins for review; payment proofs and optional payment references may be stored)

We do not sell your personal information.

Profile and Matrimonial / Life Partner fields you provide may be visible to other eligible Milgaya users who can open your profile, and may be used in discovery/search/filters.
If someone joins with an Affiliate Marketer code, that marketer may see limited information about users attributed to their code (for example photo, name, city/location label, occupation, join/approval status, and related earnings status)—not your email, raw device fingerprints, IP addresses, or exact coordinates.
Ad networks (such as AdMob) and analytics providers process data as described above when those features are used.
Admins may access account, profile, affiliate, payout, and fraud-review data to operate and secure the service.

How we use personal information (summary)

Operate Milgaya: profiles (including Matrimonial / Life Partner details), discovery, matching, connection requests, chat, notifications, Rewards Center, Affiliate Marketer program, and support.
Keep the community safer: fraud prevention, abuse detection, enforcing our rules, affiliate fraud review, and restricting certain devices or activity where our policies allow.
Improve the product: analytics and reliability (the per-install security identifier is not used for third-party targeted advertising).
Process Affiliate Marketer applications, attributions, earnings, and manual payouts when you participate.

Data security

We use secure practices for storage and processing and work to protect your information from unauthorized access.

Your control

You can update profile and account information in the app where those features are available.
Device permissions (such as location or notifications) can be changed in your device settings.
We provide a path to request account deletion consistent with our product flows and applicable law.

Age limit

Milgaya is for users 18+. We do not permit accounts for people under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will communicate material changes as appropriate (for example by email or in-app notice).
